Life Wise: A Helping Heart for Life, it will serve as a clearinghouse to process donations that will go to purchase packets of materials (primarily literature from AA & NA programs) to be distributed to homeless shelters and facilities of that nature. It includes a Bible designed specifically for use in those settings. Hope Harbor in Grand Island is serving as the pilot project and is the recipient of the first packet. They are a shelter that is listed as for the homeless and near homeless and has an average of 35 residents. Each packet of materials costs in the area of $250. Pastor Cooper has also prepared a work book Life Wise that has a chapter specifically on the Christian faith.
A helping heart for life....providing life skills and life recovery material for homeless/near homeless settings is always open to donations to support their efforts of literature distribution. Contact Pastor or a foundation member in order to support their cause. They have made five distributions to date, the most recent to The Glory House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
